Herebelow lie the drivers that you may find useful. The vast majority are on-site (and I aim to keep it that way), so downloads should be (hopefully) speedy. Anything that isn't is checked for speed/reliability. If you think there is a gaping ommission in this list, please inform me!

m3d Windoze 95 drivers - Matrox Issued Drivers
Matrox drivers ver 4.1.1.5 - 831k complete w95 set, latest as of 19/02/98.
These drivers are known to cause a number of 'problems' (see News - 20/02/98). This has been tracked down to some settings (which were disabled on the previous Matrox driver release and are now enabled by default) and since the Matrox drivers do not have the "advanced properties" tab, this cannot be helped.
Matrox drivers ver 4.03.00.1000 - 850k complete w95 set, latest as of 25/01/98.
As found on the original m3d installation cd.

m3d Windoze 95/98 drivers - Generic (NEC/VL (non-Matrox) issue) Drivers
m3d Patched Generic PowerVR Drivers 4.1.2 - 620k generic drivers. Latest as of 20/10/98.
These are the latest, generic-release drivers for the m3d and other PowerVR cards. By now, you all know the score - Officially, they may not provide the same level of compatibility or performance as that provided by the Matrox set. However, since you all want the advanced tab and we all remember the problems with the last set of drivers Matrox gave the world, I recommend you stick with these. So far, they are reported safe by m3d owners.

m3d Patched Generic PowerVR Drivers 4.1.1 - 481k generic drivers, by Simon Slater. Latest as of 20/03/98.
These are a ready-patched version of the new generic drivers for the m3d. Officially, they may not provide the same level of compatibility or performance as that provided by the Matrox set. However, the generic drivers provide access to the "advanced settings" tab. So far, there seem to be no problems reported by m3d owners using these drivers.
Generic PowerVR Drivers 4.1.1 - 833k generic (non-Matrox issue) drivers. Latest as of 12/03/98.
These are the new official generic drivers and may not provide the same level of compatibility or performance as that provided by the Matrox set. They require the m3d registry patch below.

m3d Patched Generic PowerVR Drivers 4.1.0g - 581k generic (non-Matrox issue) PowerVR drivers. Latest as of 12/03/98.
Provided by Simon Slater, these are a "ready-patched for the m3d" version of the well-proven 4.1.0 generic drivers.
Generic PowerVR Drivers 4.1.0 - 832k NEC generic (non-Matrox issue) PowerVR drivers. Latest as of 28/01/98.
These are the 'original' generic drivers and have been well proven. m3d users need the Registry patch below.
m3d Registry Patch - Generic Drivers - 6.75k. Latest as of 28/01/98.
Win95 Registry patch for use with matrox m3d and the official generic PowerVR drivers above. This is not needed for the ready-patched drivers, which will work "out of the box" with the m3d.
